Danielle Rosa - Musician and Piano Teacher

Danielle's portrait

Hi! Thanks for coming to this site, dedicated to my musical career. I enjoy teaching children and adults of all ages how to play the piano, as well as composing and performing my own original music.

(Also, a fun fact in case you were wondering: my first name is pronounced "don-Yell").

Among a many dittering occupations (like eating), one fact is true: I have always loved to sing and play the piano.  Originally native to Sebastopol, California, I have a B.A. in music from SFSU, and I teach piano to children and adults in the Harmony Road, Kindermusik, and Kodaly methods.

My style varies from classical influences, to indie rock and pop, to poetic singer/songwriters such as Joni Mitchell and Leonard Cohen. I have mostly performed solo but also with an indie-pop band on the San Francisco Peninsula, called Variable Stars. I also enjoy playing at weddings, birthday parties, and other events.

Lastly, to all the millions of great artists out there who have provided our combined lives' musical soundtracks, I would like to offer my eternal gratitude for making our lives more enjoyable.
